1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CodeNetra. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CodeNetra platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by CodeNetra ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using CodeNetra, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of such modifications.

2. Description of Service

CodeNetra is an online learning platform that provides:

• Educational courses and video content on programming and technology
• One-on-one mentorship services connecting students with experienced mentors
• Progress tracking, analytics, and learning streak features
• Community features including comments, ratings, and reviews
• Payment processing for course enrollments and mentorship sessions
• Integration with third-party services such as Google Calendar

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You may register using:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• GitHub authentication

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Not share your account with others or allow others to access your account

3.3 Account Types

• Student: Access to courses, progress tracking, and mentorship booking
• Mentor: Ability to offer mentorship sessions and manage availability
• Instructor: Permission to create and publish courses (subject to approval)
• Admin: Platform management capabilities (by invitation only)

4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload, post, or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without our written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Share course content with non-enrolled users
• Engage in any form of harassment, abuse, or spam
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or progress metrics

5. Course Enrollment and Access

5.1 Course Purchase

When you enroll in a paid course:

• Payment is processed securely through Razorpay
• You receive lifetime access to the course content unless otherwise specified
• Access is granted immediately upon successful payment verification
• Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change

5.2 Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase if:

• You have watched less than 20% of the course content
• Technical issues prevent access (and we are unable to resolve them)
• The course content significantly differs from its description

Refund requests must be submitted to support@codenetra.com and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Mentorship Services

6.1 Mentor Responsibilities

Mentors agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their expertise and experience
• Maintain professional conduct during all sessions
• Honor scheduled sessions or provide reasonable notice for cancellations
• Set fair and transparent pricing
• Respect student confidentiality

6.2 Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions or cancel with reasonable notice
• Pay the agreed-upon rate for mentorship sessions
• Treat mentors with respect and professionalism
• Provide honest feedback through the review system

6.3 Session Payments

CodeNetra facilitates payments between students and mentors. We charge a platform fee on each transaction. Mentors receive their earnings according to our payment schedule, typically within 7-14 business days after session completion.

7. Third-Party Integrations

7.1 Google Services

When you use Google Sign-In or Google Calendar integration:

• You authorize CodeNetra to access only the specific data you grant permission for
• We comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings
• We use Google Calendar solely to create and manage mentorship session events

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Razorpay. By making a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service. We do not store complete payment card information on our servers.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, and software, is the property of CodeNetra or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 User-Generated Content

When you post content (comments, reviews, course materials):

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant CodeNetra a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content
• You represent that you have the right to post such content
• You agree not to post copyrighted material without permission

8.3 Course Content Usage

Course content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Download or copy course videos (except where explicitly permitted)
• Share your account or course access with others
• Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit course content

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service "As Is"

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9.2 Educational Content

While we strive to provide high-quality educational content:

• We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career results
• Course content may become outdated as technology evolves
• Mentorship advice is provided for educational purposes only

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeNetra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Platform or other users
• Non-payment of fees

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform will cease immediately.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between the parties
• Mediation, if negotiation fails
• Binding arbitration under the laws of India

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
